REALLY??? I was told they hit their full adult weight at 18 months. Kaji has LP's (grade 3/4 in both knees) and the vet told me to let him keep growing and whatever weight he was at at 18 months was his adult weight (as long as he wasn't overweight) and I should keep him steady at that weight so as not to add pressure to his bad knees. He came to me at 6 lbs at one year and is now 7 lbs at a little over a year and a half. I'll have to ask again.
