Total cycle is 21 days.
Week one - is known as coming in - turning pink and swelling - 7 days
week two - is known as showing color....when bleeding begins - 7 days
week three - is know as going out - but when very susceptable to the male. When a female can concieve. Usually on day 10 from the onset of showing color.....when she breeds with the male is not when she concieves....it's usually when she ovulates. from day 10 to day 16.....
It's best to keep your girl away from any intact male for approximately 4 weeks. For your sanity, the safety of your girl and of course the sanity of the male.
