She'll get used to the bath. Most of them do. It will take awhile. I talk to Roxy in my soothing, but fun voice convincing her how good this feels. lol! After I've snuggled her in a big towel for a few minutes, I give her a few treats. She dries fast, so I don't need to blow dry her. A bath isn't her favoite thing to do, but she cooperates quite well. I've read on here that some dogs have always hated baths & probably always will, so it could go either way for you.
It took a few months before she gave up trying to chew the brush. She did finally get over it, & accepts it as just a part of everyday stuff now. |
