I was stopped by a Cal Highway Patrol Officer, my dog was in the car seat. His words were he highly recommended them over crates.

Works for me and my pups are safe. They've learned to travel both ways. As a matter of fact I have a couple that vomit while traveling. Switching them to a car seat stopped the vomiting......

There are more show/pet owners that transport their dogs via a car seat.

And as I said, it's better than allowing them loose in the car.[/QUOTE]

Mary do you know of any studies that compare crates versus car seat? If car seat has been proven to be safer then I can switch over.
