Usually I can tell when she is going into heat But this time she totally surprised me. The little boy was with her just the one time I caught them, Then I separated them. Now they are all in different rooms. Totally MAD at me. I will put a diaper on her, I hope that might help at least a little. I did put some vanilla on the little guy's nose, but he didnt pay any attention to it and is still barking and running around the room, wanting to get to her. When is is older and ready to mate, he is going to be crazy.! She has had 4 puppies in each litter that she had 3 females and 1 male in each litter, she is consistant with the number of puppies and the sex of the puppies. I hope that she will not have a bigger litter. She is a self whelper and I have not had to help in any way with her. |
Oh dear. First of all she should have never been bred until her 2nd heat or 18 months of age....but, what's done is done.
Good Luck with this litter...and happy DNAing.
