I think some people think kibble is better and some think canned is better (and some think homecooked is better and some think raw is better).

If your Yorkie is doing well on kibble, then there really is not need to change. I'd be more concerned about the company that whether it's kibble or canned.

You will hear that canned causes dental disease or at the least, kibble helps keep plaque off the tetth. I am not going to say this is wrong. I'll just say reliable sources say otherwise. I like canned for the moisture content, but that's me.
