And I might add that the very reason there ARE rescues is because of the irresponsible breeders who place pups willy nilly to the first person who happens along with a buck.
Thank God at least "I" can say that when "I" place a pup it IS to a home that will keep it and love it. I may not be able to stop the living hell for all pups, but I sure as hell can stop it for the ones that cross my path.
I make NO excuses for being tough to get a pup from.
