Archie I totally agree with you. It upsets me every time I read a post about someone who has decided to breed their dog. My daughter adopted a dog from our shelter a few weeks ago. It was hard to walk through the shelter and see all of those faces, and know she could only save one.
I saw the original post about Lela, and because I live in California I put it out of my mind. I remember looking at her picture and thinking that she looks like such a sweet dog. Reading this breaks my heart. What does it say about our society that we view animals as being disposable? I know we can't save them all, but still...shame on us that we don't find another solution to the over population.
