i don't think anyone here claimed that yorkies are toys (though some would argue with you, as the AKC classifies them as members of the toy group HAHA i'm kidding).... seriously, though, when i WALK my dog, i want it to walk ... when i TRAVEL with my dog or go into dog friendly places that allow dogs (but do not allow them on the ground), how would you suggest i carry it if it can't walk? what if a big dog approaches and i need to quickly get the dog out of the way? what if it's sick and i have to carry it?

maybe some people carry dogs around as accessories, but i am not one of those people ... if i were, i would've bought one of those dogs advertised as a "teacup" from a puppy mill or a non-reputable breeder ... instead, i am trying to rescue a dog ... but i also need to be mindful of my own limitations in doing so ... is that so wrong?!?

and really, even if i just PREFER a tiny dog (like someone might prefer a black dog or a smart dog or a curly-haired dog or a really HUGE dog), why does that seem to be such a problem for some folks?!?
