i agree with you, that's why i wanted to meet him and pick him up ... i knew he was a little larger than 5lbs, but i was hoping that he didn't FEEL that heavy ... unfortunately, he felt like 8 - 10lbs to me!!! and this was only picking him up once and holding him for a little while....

i'm more willing to deal with the possible health issues of a smaller dog (which are only possible and not a certainty) than a heavier dog that i know for sure will aggravate my injury over time ... i guess it's just a personal choice for all of us....
