I agree I paid 1500 for my dog! lol I always say if it is too good to be true it probably is. I would go see the dogs before I even thought about purchasing. Ask to see the parents of the dog look at the home they are brought up in kennels vs a home. All these things are important and don't be afraid to ask questions. health gaurentee and etc. good luck
as for the older dog I would ask if it has any health issues.
