NO NOT ON EMPTY STOMACH - always antibiotics, nsaids, steroids mid meal so i give 1/2 food then meds then 1/2 food - my yorkie is on clinda for staph infection - ask if they have tablets 25mg - i just ordered them from drs foster and smith but it takes 4-7 days which is fine as she is on them for 24 days so i will do liquid until it gets here but for the liquid pull the hair on side of mouth and slide the syringe behind the top canine and squirt slowly and hold head elevated so it goes down - it is bitter medication so keeping in the fridge will help it taste better vet and my vet tech friend said
