Default Successful neutering surgery, unsuccessful at keeping still

My 7 month old furbaby had a successful surgery yesterday. Last night he didn't have much of an appetite nor was he very playful, which is to be expected. The vet gave me the post-op instructions along with the pain medication. The number one instruction was to keep him "quiet" for 7-10 days, no jumping, playing, running, etc. . . First night that was a breeze, Mocha didn't feel like doing any of those things, today, however is a completely different story. He has been running and jumping throughout the house, bringing me his toys, all the listed things not to do. My fear is that he will injure himself or tear a suture. I'm looking for ideas or ways to keep him (and myself) mellow for the next 7-10 days. . .
