At the risk of adding controversy...it will be far cheaper than some of the health problems you may encounter...if the pup has gotten sick or weak, a few hours before the next scheduled visit.
I hope that if you have a sitter come in, you make sure that they wash their hands, really well, and wipe there shoes, I would even suggest an apron or something, if they are going from dog sit to dog sit...
I hope you can find a breeder in your area to help you, I think the international border puts me to far to help.
