No doubt, it drives me nuts and sometimes my husband gets really ticked off when he has just gotten home from work..lol..
I will admit, even though it doesn't always work for us, things have gotten better and I can sometimes just say "quiet" and they stop.
Ripley, Kizzie and Mindy are the ones who usually start it. But now Candy has followed and will start it. and you know once one barks even just once, they all go running to the door like a pack of brats..hehehe.
Oh and they ALWAYS run to the side door off the kitchen. So at least they run away from where we are when they do it. But when Ripley hears Don coming (Dodge Ram) they go to the front door.
Last night they started up 2 times really late while I was watching tv and both times I said quiet, and I was shocked that they quit so fast and came back to lay down. They were expecting my son..
He was not home before midnight so I sent him a text and told him to stay wherever he was, he wasn't happy but I am not having him come in at 1-2am and getting those dogs going nuts while my husband is sleeping. I warned him many times that just because he is 21 doesn't mean he can come and go as he pleases.
Ok, thats a whole other rant there
