I do usually try to cut just the tips off but usually I have someone help me hold him down while I do it because he's so strong, but yesterday I tried to do it on my own. I'm so jealous of those whose yorkies sit nice and still! He freaks out over everything...brushing/combing, teeth brushing (I tried a vibrating toothbrush once...BIG mistake lol), nail clipping. My groomer has to work on him in 10 minute increments because he gets so worked up. He's been like that since puppyhood and no matter what I've tried he is just a spazz.
