aww...poor little thing...I've done this to both my boys, and it makes you feel SO badly! I know you feel terrible, but they will forgive you
I will hold a tissue on it, with pressure, then I stick my boys' feet in flour when it happens, and it typically stops the bleeding pretty quickly. They do cry, but generally they'll stop hurting soon. I haven't ever had one "gush", but I have had them bleed all over my carpet when they're running around playing after nail trims...was it more of a squirt, or just a constant flow? Just be sure to give your baby lots of cuddles and loves, and they'll be back to normal in no time
