For instance, we went trick or treating with the neighborhood kids this past year. It was kinda chilly and it was a little chaotic so once it got dark and really chilly, it was nice to put them in the stroller to walk back home. I didn't have to worry about them being too cold or lagging behind; and in my case, Hot Rod gets spooked walking in the dark so half the time I wind up carrying him anyway.
Another time that I used to stroller was when I stopped by petsmart and I was by myself with both of them. I was glad that I had the stroller in the car because when I got there, there were probably 20 other dogs there and about 50 people in the store. I was glad that I didn't have to try and control 2 small yorkies in that mess as well as try and carry my purchases. Shoot, we walk anywhere from 2 -3 miles a day, depending on weather in my neighborhood alone! By no means do we use the stroller in place of walking or exercising. And I don't think that anyone else who has a stroller does either. |
I agree It's like Double the outing they wouldn't get to have if we didn't have a stroller.
