I think that you are all missing the point in that those of us who have strollers are not just using them to take our dogs around in. The dogs still walk and use their 4 legs but there are times, especially if you have more than 1, that having them contained and safe within a stroller for instance, is a much better thing.

For instance, we went trick or treating with the neighborhood kids this past year. It was kinda chilly and it was a little chaotic so once it got dark and really chilly, it was nice to put them in the stroller to walk back home. I didn't have to worry about them being too cold or lagging behind; and in my case, Hot Rod gets spooked walking in the dark so half the time I wind up carrying him anyway.

Another time that I used to stroller was when I stopped by petsmart and I was by myself with both of them. I was glad that I had the stroller in the car because when I got there, there were probably 20 other dogs there and about 50 people in the store. I was glad that I didn't have to try and control 2 small yorkies in that mess as well as try and carry my purchases.

Shoot, we walk anywhere from 2 -3 miles a day, depending on weather in my neighborhood alone! By no means do we use the stroller in place of walking or exercising. And I don't think that anyone else who has a stroller does either.

I agree It's like Double the outing they wouldn't get to have if we didn't have a stroller.
