This makes me sad. Your pup wants you. Dogs are pack animals and you are her pack!! We did this (had him sleep in another room) with Snick the 1st 2 weeks he came home....I still feel guilty about it, I feel like I tortured my lil babyboy being all alone!! I hate thinking about it.
If she is trained, why does it matter if she is upstairs? Would it be ok to put her bed on your bedroom floor? Snick's been in our bed for about a year now after he was potty trained and now he is liking his alone time in his bed that is raised and next to our bed. He can jump up to sleep with us anytime and usually does in the middle of the night. But now since he starts out in his own bed, we all have our own space.
I would suggest you try asking your BF to ATLEAST let her sleep on the floor in your room. You will all have a good nights rest now and forvever!!!!
Good Luck-
Snick & Viv
