In Pasadena, while walking my doggies late at night, I've had to keep my distance and wait for coyotes to walk away from me. My Yorkie is fearless and will bark, so I've had to distract him a bit so he doesn't realize that a coyote was about 30 feet away. Scary.

I've always wondered if pepper spray will cause them to run away...(if I had to use it)[/QUOTE
OH my, that is scary, I can't imagine having to deal with a coyote!
