yup....that's my feeling too. Even when I walk my 2 who are the smallest in my apartment that I've seen - I always walk
around people keeping them very close to me on their leashes...
they WANT to check out everyone but I know not everyone likes dogs so in respect - I always give people the right of way.... unless they stop me and want to pet them - then it's ok .....Some people ARE scared but once they pet them and see they aren't going to 'go after' them - they walk away smiling
now I do have people that will walk WAY out of the way when they see me coming and if I feel they're scared - I turn and go the other way .....no need to freak out my neighbors - I have to live among them !
