Yep, I suppose I did take it a bit personally...although I didn't at first. I guess having a kid who HAS had her face nearly ripped off by a dog and who does now harbor a real fear on occasion when caught off guard by even small, harmless dogs... It's a bit difficult to find humor in a "joke" about how "irrational" it is...no matter how much 'people really
enjoy' it. I guess maybe having been through that, I'm just a bit
too sensitive and understanding of people who share that same fear.
