My Ruby started itching when she was 5 months old and I scheduled her with a dermatologist. Within 3 weeks after that, before we could even make it to her first appointment, her hind legs started balding (see attachment).
The dermatologist has confirmed that this is caused by her scratching and biting and we're now on week 11 of a dietary food trial to determine exactly what she's allergic to. Fortunately, it hasn't gotten any worse and her leg hairs are seeeeeemingly starting to get a little bit longer again. |
