"I know quite a few breedings now doing AI just because its alot easier and not as stressful with the breeding. I personally have not learned yet but I am going to.
I have a tiny male Biewer that when he is ready, if he can't reach or require alot of assistance with books, rugs ...etc...and still cant ...then I will AI."
I hear you there. My last stud male was great! He was 3 pounds of willing and able. I could pile up towels and blankets and he could get a 7 pounder with no problem. Funny little guy too, would not breed unless I was there. As soon as the towels went on the floor he would get all excited and almost be in a frenzy as soon as I sat down on the floor with the bitch... never needed to AI with him around.
I miss him terribly...lost him in surgery(dental) 2 years ago anesthesia overdose I think...
