I have always read and been told that they should have fresh water available at tll times. Since we put down a clean bowl with fresh water for Toto several times a day, it's hard to judge just how much she actually drinks but I would estimate maybe 1 cup or more depending on the weather and her activity. Also, we never give her anything but one particular kind of bottled water. Water in some areas make our stomach upset so we always "play it safe" and drink bottled water and just simply got Toto used to it too!
