That is possible, but more rinsing wouldn't hurt. A vet would need to look at his eye with a scope to see if there was any damage. I guess it really depends on the amount that got into his eye and how quickly you were able to rinse it out.

About a year ago. I brush my teeth occasionally with H2O2. Somehow a few drops splashed into my eye. (guess I should wear goggles) As I was at the sink, after a few seconds I felt the burn and immediately got water into my eye. I stopped long enough to double check the label and decided to rinse my eye some more. It didn't cause a chemical burn to my eye, but the whole episode gave me a headache for a few hours. As I reacted quickly, my eye was not burned by it, but had I waited any longer, I think it may have caused some damage.
