Also, if you reacted immediately and got water in his eye straight away, this would be good. If it stayed in the eye it can cause a chemical burn. I don't know if you could apply any kind of eye ointment to coat the eye without trapping any remaining H2O2 in it, maybe causing more harm. I did use the ask a vet service once and was fairly impressed with it. Maybe they could tell you any additional treatment you could do, or what your vet would do if you were to take him in. The service costs between $5-$15 ... to me worth it to at least have an answer from a professional.
