I used to pre-medicate w/liquid benadryl, before shots, just to be on the safe side...However, my vet, now, said you really can't get enough of the liquid in them to be useful, so she gives a pre-med benadryl injection, if shot warrants it...Yesterday, Apple had her DHPP and got a shot of benadryl, but Buzz just had a parvo booster, so he didn't get the benadryl shot...I would, definitely, pre-medicate, before rabies... |
