Mr. & Mrs. Biewer named them Biewer Terriers, and people tried to change it.. Then the new one was drawn up and comes from her (the standard and name)... And what I posted is part of the history of the breed. I didn't make it up..

This is a great description of the very club you are quoting. BTCA changed the name to biewer terrier and also the standard.
Btw, Mrs Biewer was neither the breeder nor the exhibitor of the dogs.
There are clubs which strive to maintain the history and heritage of the breed as per the country of origin....which would be Germany. Biewer terriers do not exist anywhere but in the US.
