To answer your post...it would appear that it is some American breeders that want to change the truth of the dogs to their advantage. Mrs. Biewer has been used (or her name has been used) to change the history of these wonderful dogs after they hit the shores here in the US in 2003.
When Mr. Biewer died in 1997 she got rid of all the dogs. It was Mr. Biewer who bought the dogs from Streamglen and it was Mr. Biewer in the showring. It was Mr. Biewer who signed the standard. I am sure she supported her husband but to use her as an endorsement does not mean much to many Biewer breeders in Germany or the states.

I am glad you are such an expert! Tell me then, which club is right. They cannot even agree. And I know all about the Biewers, I am tired of being talked to as if I am an idiot....
Since you have it all down I will leave this thread for the experts. I honestly don't really care about the breed..I am more interested in the yorkie and wouldn't mind a parti...Not a Biewer.....
