The BTCA has changed the Biewer's written standard and also it's original name to the Biewer Terrier. The BTCA, Inc. has the only accepted revised standard signed by Mrs. Biewer. The revised standard allows for undocked tails and black in the coats.

I would recommend anyone interested in a biewer should really do their homework. I suggest also checking out the BBCA's stand on the Biewers Biewer Breed Club of America Inc. BBCA
Just because it is on the internet, in print, or on someone's website doesn't make it fact--even if it is posted here on YT. There has been much discussion on the lack of validity of the Mars test. There has been no substantiation that the Mars test is valid. Do a search here on on YT for Mars test and read what has been discussed. |
Are you saying what I posted was not true? The Biewer's have to many clubs now so people are very confused. however I think I would believe what Mrs. Biewer has to say over anything. Americans have always had to try and do something to change a breed one way or another that was developed elsewhere and then try to call it their own.
Mr. & Mrs. Biewer named them Biewer Terriers, and people tried to change it.. Then the new one was drawn up and comes from her (the standard and name)... And what I posted is part of the history of the breed. I didn't make it up..
