I am going to be a new Yorkie mommy very soon. I am going up this weekend to pay the deposit on my baby girl, and will get to bring her home mid April when she is 8 weeks old.
So far I have ordered this for her to stay in while being house/potty trained:
Walmart.com: North State - Superyard XT Portable Playard & Gate: Gear. I saw one person on this forum that had a Play Yard kind of like this, and she had a crate in there for her to sleep in. Is this a good idea? I was just going to put a little bed in the area for her, but would it be better to have a crate, so she is more enclosed when she is sleeping?
Also, what things do I need for her? Do Yorkies usually use a water dish, or a water bottle?
Any advice for a new Yorkie Mommy would be greatly appreciated! I am SO excited, my husband said he doesn't know if he can live with me for the next month... LOL!!
