Glad his ears are up. The humping for a puppy, though it can be embarassing, is very normal. It also aides in bringing to the little fellows testicles and helps them seat. So, for now, just tell your girls that he has an itch (very true). This is not sexual activity on one this young......After your little guy's equipment is in place and you have him nuetered....the activity will subside.
