How is he doing. When they get a vomitting bit and they are a bigger yorkie not a young pup best to withold food for 12 hrs and sometimes you have to withold water for a while to if they are in a vomitting cycle as you have to stop the cycle - I then after 12 hr fast soak kibble give 3-4 and see if he keeps it down and then he lets me know when he feels better as he gets feisty barking for food
Mine has ibd and pancreatitis issues so vomitting gets very scary here and i always thought to leave water down but internal medicine said no pull up water if they are vomitting alot and get them to stop the cycle then slowly give water on fingers, by bowl, or ice cube so they do not gulp it thus setting off the vomitting again - check gums to make sure not sticky and you are good to go
