yeah the water will cause a vicious cycle of vomitting so you have to hold both up for a while then give him a little at a time to not let him gulp or use a ice cube let him lick it or put water on fingers and let him lick a little at a time. He did not eat any toys or anything that you have noticed as first you want to rule out a blockage
