As I understood it, she was selling her art, or at least doing some for others, and if it was not true that it was original art, then that is more than just "hurtful" . Usually , when the truth is not told, there is more harm than just "hurt feelings" and the harm is usually to both the one who was dishonest and the one who was deceived.
Very few people are honest ALL THE TIME but we all try to be, and when we make a mistake, we can learn from it.
Honesty is so important in society. As soon as we accept it as "no big deal" we have real problems in my opinion. |
