I leave dry out all the time, thier dish holds a cup, cup and half and it takes 3ish days for them to finish it. (they are 4 and 9 pounds) However, I also give them few teapsoons of wet in the a.m and some yogurt with some peices of meat (from NB or fresh pet select). They generally use the dry food as a "snack".
