This is about manners, plain and simple. I have seen this time and time again because somehow people feel they can come onto the internet and all rules are thrown out the window when it comes to social behavior. There is not one person who would tell someone their opinion doesn't count but first you have to build relationships with people to have your opinion be worth anything. How many times have you gone somewhere and met someone new and you really thought their dress was ugly? Did you tell them within the 1st 10 minutes?? or did they become your friend and then you told them later and you both had a good laugh. What if a stranger walked up to you and told you, you had an ugly nose, wouldn't your feelings be hurt? How many times have you met new people and had an ugly opinion about them but never voiced your thoughts to them because it is not the right thing to do. Coming into a new internet chat room is the same as meeting new people in person. It takes awhile before you let people know everything about you and you go slow because you want people to like you. Hopefully you learned a lesson that you can have an opinion but, until you get to know people it is best to keep it to yourself just like you would with a new group of people you met in person.
