Cool

I am currently searching for my 2nd yorkie and am coming across SO many people letting their pups go at 8 weeks old (sometimes sooner). I bypass those ads very quickly. I do NOT want to have to go through the horror of my puppy dying in front of me from low blood sugar or a disease that it is not yet vaccinated against. We pay a LOT of money for well bred, well socialized yorkies - it should be the breeders job to ensure that the puppy is kept long enough for mom to teach it all that it needs to know.

6 weeks is far too young to bring home a yorkie... Especially if it's one that's been bred to standard, it is going to be very tiny. I would be terrified of something happening and me not knowing what to do. Some are lucky and have no issues with young pups.. but if you search through this site you'll find plenty who have had issues... some who have spent thousand of dollars to save their pups, and some who have gone through the heart ache of losing them way too soon...
