I'm sorry to hear that Patti, I must say your Cali is adorable. Although most people on this thread have purchased through a newspaper ad they wouldn't recommend it even though they purchased healthy puppies.
When I picked up Chi-Chi, she had a mild ear infection, but other than that she was in great health. The vet complimented Chi-Chi's coat (which is beautiful) and her size, saying that she is a model Toy Yorkie.
I'm not a advocate for newspaper ads, I'd say go the Breeder route, but it is OK to go the newspaper route if you have done the appropriate research and met the parents - I would say meeting the grandparents is a bit of a stretch. |
