and can you please show me where it states that breeders giving their puppies away at 12 weeks are considered "second hand" if you would read my statement rightly i said over here in england if you was looking in local ads the only people who would be selling a pup at 12 to 16 weeks are people didnt want them no more i.e they had work committments or couldnt handle a dog i DID NOT mean that you lot as breeders were giving away "second hand" pups this was my exact words.....

over here in england no one would consisder a dog of 16 weeks a new puppy we would class it as a second hand pup because the only people who are getting selling a pup at that age would be people who dont want them no more

and you say glad i live in the US i have nowt against the US but when it comes to animal rights iam very glad i live in England because its illegal to chop puppies tails off or cut their dew claws off or de-claw cats so yer iam glad i live in the good ole England !!!!

you lot have made me so angry i replyed to this girls post about her bringing her dog home when she feels right and you all attacked me and now its turned into a witch hunt. i feel sorry for the OP because all she wanted was some good comments becauses excited to get her yorkie and all you did was tell her she shouldnt take it away from its mum too soon at the end of the day its not your problem how this pup turns out so next time try to be a bit more nicer because everytime i make a thread on this forum at least one person has to critise me!!!!!

I am just so very sorry you are so angry. I did not talk to you like you were an idiot. I stated my opinions just like you did. I apologize if that offends you. I said "this person", which there is NOTHING bad about that, because I do not know you, or your name.
My point about the second hand puppy was that I am VERY proud that my breeders choose to keep their puppies to 12 weeks, and that they do not have to be second hand here to get them at that age. I see NOTHING wrong with removing the dew claws. It is so easy for them to get them hung on things and tear them out, and this is much more painful than removing them when they are a few days old. NOBODY has turned this in to a witch hunt. We all have a right to state what we believe. We disagreed yes, but we said nothing bad about you as a person, we just didn't agree with taking the puppy home so young and wanted the OP to hear all of the info.
