I was replying to livingdustmops and asked if she could provide where she found her information from, when she said, "If you read any of the old books at the turn of the century, breeders were trying to create a white Yorkie. They were throwing in a number of different breeds."

I have found no info on breeders trying to "create" or "make" white yorkies in the early 1900's, only reference to breeders trying to promote the white yorkshires (because they were being born in traditional litters). I was just asking if she could tell us where she found her info on early white yorkies.

In reference to your stating that there are no parti's in the UK, I did post a link to a thread from early 2008, about a breeder in the UK who had a litter with parti pups ... Just because you don't hear of parti being born in the UK, does not mean that it doesn't happen ... because it does and has happened ;-)
