If they leave the mother and their littermates to early it can result in the pup not learning everything a mother should teach her puppies and the puppy could look at you as his or her new mom. Sounds good? You won't think so the your new puppy follows you around, at your feet all the time.

this part is telling you that puppies before 12 weeks should boound with their new family in their new home:

If you wait too long your puppy will miss you on the important socialization they need before about 11 or 12 weeks of age.

i know iam right and iam sure you know your right but i surpose you will tell me that chopping off puppies tails is good as well or cutting of their dew claws iam just so glad thats illegal over here
This statement is taken right off the YTCA website:
All puppies leaving the breeders possession will be a minimum of twelve (12) weeks of age to facilitate adequate socialization as well as appropriate emotional and temperament development through interaction with siblings, dam and other dogs.

As for the tails: That is the standard, tail to be docked, not that I agree with that, but that is the way it is.

As for dewclaws: They can cause alot of harm just as well.

You might have me with the tail issue, but NEVER on the age of when a puppy leaves my home!!!!!!!! My oldest baby boy who will be 10 weeks old tomorrow weighs 1lb 10oz, I can't even imagine letting him go that small, not to mention with only one set of shots!!!!!!
