I'm going to be a school teacher and my professional opinion is different than my personal opinion.......lol.... proffesionaly speakiing i dont think they should show it either, but personally (outside of class) there are kids that sneak into rated r movies in the movie theaters, parents buy their kids the rated r tickets and then leave, ect....
what i do think is funny is which movies parents deem okay to watch: for example everyone here knows the movie saving private ryan???? that first scene when the unit was storming normandy beach was AWFUL, VERY violent adn very bloody, but some parents say its okay because it is historical... versus constantine which is less violent (and they wont let their kids watch this one).. i think the problem with the rating system is that it does not get upheld or taken seriously,
I was always able to watch wichever movies i wanted (yes even rated r ones) but there is another problem which i think is a lot more violent and damagin than movies and that is video games, specifically grandtheft auto, has anyone heard of this? you can beat up prostitutes and other citizens and run over people ect... this in my mind is much worse than youre problem with constantin (i dont even know why is got a rated r rating, does anyone know????) anyways, like i said it could have been worse
