Every pup is different, but they like to chew on things and now is a good time to do serious potty training. I'm in the middle of it now and I'm using a crate when I can't watch him and at night. Unfortunately I'm missing signals that he has to go out so we've had a few accident here and there, but he has to go out a lot. I started with paper training but it wasn't working as well as outside.
Ruger is also in puppy school and picks up things very quickly, so 6 months is a great time to teach obedience. Just have fun and try to think like a dog. Also lots of good "stickys" in the forum you can refer to.
Oh, yeah. The breeder recommended cow ears as a chew toy. Ruger seems to like them, and when he's chewing on something he's not supposed to giving him a cow ear as a substitute works well.
