Well licking his butt is normal and well they have to keep it clean. Even if it is gross.
Now if he is licking the rest of him self and a lot then three things things can be happening one he was allergies, two he is stressed and trying to calm him self or three he is dirty.
You have to figure out which of the three it is and go from there on how to handle it.
