Has anyone force feed a girl before with a syringe? What food would be best to do this? Should I do this?

Has anyone heard about b-12 shots to increase appetite?
Oh Mellisa:

I understand what you're going through, last summer I had two do this to me. I've had girls go off food at their 3rd week, for about a week. But, these 2 never went back on. Yes, I force fed them. Goat's milk, equal parts of distilled water, mixed with Gerber's rice cereal and crushed puppy kibbles. I used a baby spoon. Put a bib on them, sat them on my lap and fed them like little babies. Yes, I used Dyne. But, what eventually worked, was Natural Balance; the lamb formula.......at least I got them to eat. What was worse was they didn't pick up eating until after the pups were weaned. Thank goodness I had no issues with their milk drying up or eclampsia. But, I did do the scrambled egg with crushed calcium and kept Oral Cal Plus on hand.

Try warming her food and sprinkling Parmeasan Cheese. Canine's love stinky stuff. Her hormones and taste buds are out of wack....and she must be experiencing morning sickness.
