Is it possible that some puppies never take to crate training? My hubby put our puppy (5 mo. old) in the crate today to leave for an appointment. When I got home, 20 min later, she was soaked, and thirsty and favoring a back leg! It had to be from salivation because there is no water in there and she does not smell like urine. My daughter said the same thing happened the other day when she was left in her crate for a short time. This is a new developement in her attempt to fight the crate. Will an ex pen make any difference for one with severe seperation anxiety like this? Please!!! Any advice?
