that happened to us also! Tiggy was 3 yrs old, our only yorkie & we had three huge cats they all ignored each other pretty much. I brought my 8 week old Precious home & Tiggy was pissed! He hated her, started peeing on my brand spankin new $1000 sofa, I had to referee for the next two weeks. He snipped at her, and she would just cower wondering what she did wrong, my poor baby! After the two weeks, he wouldn't even let ME near her without growling at me lol! Now, 4 years later, Precious runs the household. Just be patient and give them time, but watch them while playing together, they will be bffs before you know it!
