We called and talked to the neuro today. He said she's fine with the dosage she's on and doesn't think it's a good idea to up the dose because too much can cause stomach cancer. He said more of the dosage wouldn't decrease the fluid any more than what it is doing now. |
I would absolutely be getting a second opinion. Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good. If she doesn't have good quality of life with what he's doing now I would insist the dose be changed. If the dose is upped you should be able to tell in a couple of days weather it's working.
